This is a really useful trick if you are feeling down, or can’t stop your thoughts, or are worrying about the future

 Put your past present and future back in the right order to reduce stress and give you back a perspective.

Stand up

Close  you eyes

Focus internally

Now answer these questions with your AWARENESS,  not with your mind.

In relation to where you are standing,

Where your past?

Where is you future

Where is your present

Often our past will seem to be in front of us, as we keep remembering things that have happened.

Living in the Past may have been a good song by Jethro Tull but it is not a recipe for a happy life!

So imagine that you can pick your past up and MOVE it so that it is behind or to the side of you.

Put your self as you are now  into the the present moment.

OR

You might be worrying about a future event

And answer these same questions – again  with your AWARENESS,  not with your mind.

In relation to where you are standing,

Where your past?

Where is you future

Where is your present

You might find that your future is right slap bang up close, where your present ought to be.

Now move your future a good bit further out in front of you

And change it to bright colourful, with beautifully designed paths and all the things you’d love to have in your life.

Don’t be too precise – allow the universe some flexiability!

Breath, engage your Peripheral Vision and Smile
