SLEEP COACHING & THERAPY

Online and in Deal, Kent

One-to-one support for insomnia, anxiety and disrupted sleep

Sue is a regular guest on BBC Local Radio and writes about sleep for national and local press.

Calm your mind.

Relax your body.

Sleep again.

Sleep is not something you need to force.
When the mind and body feel settled, sleep usually returns.

Are You Struggling To Sleep?

I often see people lying awake for hours, waking in the early hours, or getting through the day feeling exhausted.

Sometimes there’s an obvious reason.
Sometimes sleep has just shifted and won’t settle again.

We look at what’s behind it and how to improve your sleep.

Sleep Problems I Can Help With

SG-36

People come to me with a range of sleep problems, including:

  • insomnia
  • a busy mind that won’t switch off
  • waking in the night
  • sleepwalking
  • bruxism (teeth grinding)
  • disrupted sleep patterns
  • snoring and CPAP use
  • menopause and andropause-related symptoms
  • pain and discomfort
  • anxiety

You’ll find more in The Sleep Well, along with practical ways to improve your sleep and how I can help.

How I Help You Sleep Again

I help people improve their sleep using a combination of coaching, therapy, meditation and practical advice.

Sleep coaching is often once a week, or you book another session when something comes up. I work differently.

We usually meet weekly or fortnightly, and I’m there for you between sessions, so you’re not left to manage things on your own. Sleep can improve for a few nights and then slip again.

I stay in touch, offering practical techniques and recordings you can use at home. Some recordings are specific to you, based on our sessions together and what you’re working on. Others focus on the sleep problem itself, or are simple relaxation recordings you can use whenever you need them.

We also look at what’s behind your sleep — not just habits, but what’s driving it. That can include how your mind settles, what’s happening in your body, and things like breathing, routines and lifestyle. We also look at how to get through the day after a difficult night, so it doesn’t knock -everything off course.

Sessions don’t have to stop on the hour. I don’t book clients back-to-back, so if we need a bit longer, we take it. I keep my client numbers small so I can work in this way.

“I can’t thank Sue enough for helping me with my acute insomnia. I was in such a bad place with it when we started the treatment, getting barely any sleep and on sleeping tablets and antidepressants as a result. She really helped me to work through the issue and understand the core and then journey back to peace using a variety of surprising but very effective methods. I was quite skeptical to begin with as to how useful it would be having tried a vast number of other treatments but Sue has done such a lot of research and reading into this specific problem and she really helped me. you have been soooo helpful to me and worth every penny- and then some! Thank you Sue.”

“Sue’s therapy helped me to relax, expel stress and negative energy and sleep better. Without Sue, I would probably be on medication to help sleep. This has not been necessary.”

Denise, Development Manager, Ealing

“I was aware that there was an issue I was not confronting that was stopping me from moving forward and causing me to wake during the early hours. Sue used her core transformation technique to effectively address the issue. I would recommend anyone who has problems with sleep to arrange a consultation with Sue Gray.”
